Barton beds

Getting harder to obtain, shells from the Barton beds of Barton on sea in Hampshire. This is located on the south coast of the UK near the Isle of Wight. The shells date to around 45 million years old but they all come with full details.
Venericardia sulcata

A single valve that measures around 15mm wide. The shells come from 'bed E' and have excellent detail internally and externally. If two or more are purchased I will ensure they consist of left and right halves (although these will not be associated pairs). The shell supplied will be similar to the ones shown.
